They are off-peak months, and you are likely to save a great deal if you choose to have your wedding in any of those four months.

Determine your budget, and stick to it. Your budget should be within your financial capabilities and it should allow for some flexibility. This is because anything can change at the last minute, and you may need to have some backup resources to cater for that. Even though you may want your wedding to be special, it is advisable to be realistic, or else you may be setting yourself up for disappointment.

When it comes to the jewellery, you may want to involve your friends and family. This is because some of them may already have experience. Ask them to recommend to you a reputable online jeweller.

Choose the venue for your wedding and reception. Book them 6 months in advance. Set up a meeting with your wedding planner, and go through the details with him/her. Make sure you put boundaries where need be, or else you may find yourself spending outside your budget limit.

Come up with a list for your bridal party. You can feel free to have it as short, or as long as you want it to be. You should also set up a meeting with them to discuss the color scheme and designs of the clothes. This will be the right time for you to choose your wedding dress as well.

Come up with a guest list. This will heavily depend on your budget. Choose close friends and family if you are working within a limited budget, however, you can invite acquaintances and colleagues if your budget allows.

Take care of your honeymoon details well in advance. You can confirm the details a month before the wedding.
